VIT ceramics
“VIT”, the Swedish word for white, refers to the signature white line detailing on the “VIT ceramics” range of handmade lamps and vases from kRI kRI Studio. Artist Kristin Nelson has shaped modern forms in clay using the ancient coil and pinch technique. The result is a surface that is subtly textured and tactile, one in which the “artist’s hand” remains visible. The handmade forms are naturals for vases and lamps. VIT ceramics focus on form, rather than pattern. They practical yet soft with primitive elegance.
Kristin, also known as Kri Kri, likes to say they are “perfectly imperfect”. It is this quality that adds an authentic quality and warmth to your home.
